Hello,
in New York there was a ditching of an US Airways Airbus A320 on Hudson River.
All (146?) passengers and crew survived. Some injuries ( hypothermia).
The plane took off from La Guardia, bound for Charlotte. Probably there was a birdstrike in one of the or even in both engines and so there was no possibility to divert to New Jersey or to return.
The plane didn't burst and so it's still not sunk after about 1,5h. Great work of the crew, I think.
