During my trip to Minneapolis for my work last week we drove by a local airstrip on our way back to the Hotel when we saw some signs of a "Big Bomber" event. Unfortunately no bombers were seen as they were arriving a day late.
However a nice surprise was the Classic Wings Museum which has it's homebase at this airport. This is a private collection normally not open for public, we were lucky due to the hangar being open for public this day due to the event. Below some pictures made in the hangar of this impressive collection of very rare birds.
Sorry for the low quality, I didn't had my own cam with me and was lucky one of my US collegue's had his in his bag. The quality is way to low for the database but would like to share them with you anyhow.
All aircraft within the collection are airworhty and can be seen on airshows across the US during the summer season.
