The helicopter has on its port side and army markings on its starboard side. On December 19,2012 the 2./LTG 61 ( Luftransportgeschwader , Transport Wing ) based at Landsberg-Penzing disbanded, and the Hueys were transferred to the Transporthubschrauberregiment 30 ( THR 30 ) at Niederstetten. But in order to provide SAR duties for the nearby Alps, a couple of Hueys will continue operating out of Landsberg till 2014, with experienced SAR-Luftwaffen Crews.
