N3375G Sunlight falls on this SNJ-5 inside the hangar at the Planes of Fame Air Museum. The trainer was accepted by the USN on 12 Oct 1944 at Dallas, Texas. It served with a number of units till Dec 1946. After being reconditioned in 1947, the aircraft went into storage till 1948. It was returned to service in Jul 1948, serving on both coasts. The aircraft was stationed at Kwajalein from Jan to Oct 1954 during the atomic bomb tests, finishing its service at NAS Barbers Point, Hawaii. Transferred to California, it was acquired by the museum in 1961 and restored to flying condition. (mehr von N3375G)

ZD374 "Miss Behavin" on display in the Cold War Gallery at NMUSAF. A JP233 can be seen underneath. Built in 1982, this Tornado served with No. 17 Sqn. at RAF Bruggen, Germany. Deployed to Dhahran, the aircraft flew combat missions during Op Desert Storm. GR.1s commenced their attacks with Tallil airfield on 16/17 Jan 1991. Tasked with runway denial, GR.1s carried JP 233 bomblet dispensing pods, 495 gal drop tanks, a Sky Shadow jammer and a BOZ-107chaff/flare dispenser for a take-off weight of 30 tons. (mehr von ZD374)
