50-062 Anybody want to know where some of the grassroots of great commercial airliners such as the B707, B747, and the DC-8 got their aerodynamic designs from? It was from the likes of this B-47, which was the first swept-wing jet bomber for the United States. This particular a/c was delivered to the Mighty Eighth Museum from Florence, South Carolina in 1998. After a period of refurbishment, this a/c now sits as a nice advertisement of the museum for those passing by on I-95! (mehr von 50-062)
