XX901 c/n B3-06-75, she is preserved by the Yorkshire Air Museum In her 1991 Gulf War 12 Squadron markings having flown 14 operational missions and had destroyed a taxiing Iraqi transport aircraft ( a captured Kuwait AF C130 KAF322), with a laser guided bomb. R6690 The Yorkshire Museum Gate Guard represents a 609 (West Riding) Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force Spitfire, flown by their CO, Sqn Ldr Darley. The original R6690 was shot down over South London on Sept15.1940, and the pilot, P/O Daunt was killed. (mehr von R6690)

P3873 Is Gate Guard for the Yorkshire Air Museum, and is painted as YO:H of 1 Sq RCAF, the proper P3873 was shot down over Canterbury (UK) on Oct 05, 1940, with the pilot F/o Molson (RCAF) baling out. He survived the war and is now patron of the museum. (mehr von P3873)

XL231 showing the 1991 Gulf War art work of this once proud refueller. 18 mission markings, with a 55 Squadron 75 year anniversary legend and her name " Lusty Lindy". She is preserved in ground running condition and was the B.2 to K,2 prototype (mehr von XL231)
