041 The plane from 109 Squadron at LLRD crashed on May 3, 2005 on the runway during landing. The jet sustained severe damage. Although the damage was extensive and it seemed the airframe was a write-off, it was deemed repairable. Finally, after six years of work, the aircraft was repaired. The airframe was taken apart completely and all broken parts repaired or replaced. Now the pale fl ies again. On tail is the logo of Air Maintenance Unit #22 by whom the repair was done.
