D-HNWP BK-117 of the Police Helicopter Unit NRW ( North Rhine-Westphalia ) had there annual water-rescue training on the Rhine-River. This was the first training day, when two MBB BKK-117 and one EC-155 in cooperation with Police Divers were training a so called "Kufenrettung" which is a rescue with the skids, and the helicopter entering the water when approching the diver or the person who will be rescued! It was the first time I could myself witness this kind of rescue, and I pay my deep respect all aircrews and even the police divers for there great professionalism - well done guys! (mehr von D-HNWP)

30+83 This Eurofighter image I took in Wittmund last week.....as u might recognize:-)! Now starts the funny part...it has under the cockpit the "famous" R and on the fin the badge of the JG 74, even this Typhoon belongs to the JaboG 31 "B". Any questions:-)?! 70+88 As to mark the transfer of the type from the German Air Force ( Luftwaffe ) to the German Army ( Heer ), the Bell UH-1D Huey , 70+88, was painted in this colorful scheme for the �FLY-OUT�. The helicopter has on its port side and army markings on its starboard side. On December 19,2012 the 2./LTG 61 ( Luftransportgeschwader , Transport Wing ) based at Landsberg-Penzing disbanded, and the Hueys were transferred to the Transporthubschrauberregiment 30 ( THR 30 ) at Niederstetten. But in order to provide SAR duties for the nearby Alps, a couple of Hueys will continue operating out of Landsberg till 2014, with experienced SAR-Luftwaffen Crews. (mehr von 70+88)
F-ZBFN "Superscoop" droping some water on the "Lac d`Eupen", which is Dam near Eupen. 12 Bombardier CL-415s are currently operated by the S�curit� Civile, and it was real fun to get so close to the action, witness the operations on this lake.
