YV2081 c/n 872015. Sadly w/o 04.01.2008. The aircraft was flying from Caracas (Simon Bolivar) to Los Roques Airport in the Los Roques archipelago. Shortly after takeoff the pilot radioed it had lost both engines and was attempting to ditch near the islands. It crashed in the sea about 24 miles from the islands. 12 pax and the pilot are missing, the body of co-pilot has been found 9 days later on the shore near Adicora (Ven) (mehr von YV2081)
