This is picture from my great uncle taken around the late 1930s. On the back this was written: The engine is doing 1950 revoloutins per minute. So there is quite a wind. Enough to pull 10 ton of an airplane through the air at 200 miles per hour or better. We test the engine here to see if we put it together right. We see 50 or 60 gal. of gas per hour.
