XA-HON Pictured after returning from Aeroperu and named Teotihuacan. It was a pre-Columbian Mesoamerican city. The archaeological site is located approximately 40 kilometers from Mexico city. Apart from the pyramids, Teotihuacan is also anthropologically significant for its complex, multi-family residential compounds, the Avenue of the Dead, and the small portion of its vibrant murals that have been exceptionally well-preserved. XA-MEI San Jerónimo Tlacochahuaya is a town and municipality in the Mexican State of Oaxaca. The name Tlacochahuaya comes from Nahuatl and means “in wet land” or “in the swamp.” Tradition states that the town was founded by a Zapotec warrior by the name of Cochicahuala. Its main church is the Templo de San Jerónimo, which was built along with a monastery at the end of the 16th century. It has notable altrapieces and an organ that dates from colonial times. XA-MEK Iztaya very hard to find the meaning but according to a Nahuatl dictionary, it means to become white. I don't understand the relation between the name and the tail design. (mehr von XA-MEK)
