OY-NSA The company Surcar Airlines has carried out this morning in the port of Santa Cruz de La Palma the first demonstration mooring of a passenger seaplane, a system with which the next autumn wants to make the routes Santa Cruz de Tenerife-La Palma and Santa Cruz de Tenerife-Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. After leaving the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, I clear up towards La Palma, after demonstrating the operational and braking capabilities of this type of ship. The company indicates that the first operations were aimed at a consumer niche focused on the business traveler and some tourist passengers during the weekends.
